No guarantees on this week’s blog, folks. I am a certified blithering ditz lately. I am so excited about my debut signing in Atlanta that I can barely carry on an intelligent conversation. Comprehensive sentences are a challenge, which is making my day job as a legal receptionist a real struggle. Luckily, my co-workers and boss understand, and are cutting me some slack. Thank goodness for small blessings.

My books, banners and swag are packed. All that’s left are my clothes and that won’t get packed until the day before I actually walk out the door. BUT, all of my outfits are picked out and hanging on my closet door, so other than throwing them into the suitcase, I’m pretty well ready.

I have a few last minute items to buy this weekend. Didn’t I say that last weekend? *sigh* It’s a never ending vicious cycle. As soon as I get one list scratched off, another one compiles itself.

I actually tried to work on my second book this week. The attempt was laughable. Other than correcting my POV issues, I haven’t accomplished much. I can’t focus! At least I was smart enough to put it back on the shelf until after I get back from Atlanta.

I’m looking forward to being with my EBB friends again. Two of them I met last year at ARC in NOLA and I can’t wait to see them again. The third author is one I only know from online. Can’t wait to meet her! I know I’ll hit it off with her just like I did the other two. Kindred souls and all that… 😉

I’m going to wrap it up for now. I still have to go over those lists that keep popping up.

Till next week,

~Madison
