This weekend my publishing house, Eclectic Bard Books, will be celebrating its 2nd birthday. It’s a big deal to the owners and authors of the house. I’m thrilled because I’m one of the authors. True, I’m the only unpublished writer, but that will change in a few short months.
This will be my first event as an author. In a way, I’m glad it’s an online event. I can get my feet wet while sitting comfortably at my computer. It’s not quite so nerve wracking when you’re sitting in the comfort of your own home.
I’m excited about my debut at TNEE in Atlanta, GA in April of 2016. It’s too far away for me to get nervous about it now. And I know I will have the support of my mentors and fellow authors. Friendship goes a long way in these instances. They’ll be the ones to push me forward if I flag. I’m slowly putting together my swag and accoutrements I’ll need for my debut. My banners are amazing and I can’t wait to display them. Big kudos to Victoria Miller for doing my art work. The woman is amazingly talented!
Just to put it out there, my slot for the EBB Anniversary celebration will be Sunday, Dec. 20 from 2:00-3:00 pm CST. I’ve got games and prizes planned along with snippets of info about my book and my cover reveal.
There will be quite the lineup of authors, both in-house and guests. Everyone has games and prizes plus info on their books. It’s a great opportunity to meet some wonderful writers and get in on the latest news. Chances to win cool gifts don’t hurt either. 😉
Hope to see you there. Don’t forget! Dec 19-20 from 10am-8pm CST both days.
